Bend Bowmen Archery Club Membership (BBAC)– REQUIRED
Membership in the Bend Bowmen Archery Club is required to join the team.
You may join as either:
Family Membership $175.00– recommended if other family members also wish to shoot at the range.
Student Membership $75.00– for team members only. Please note: with this option, family members and friends may not use the range. Non-members are limited to the clubhouse lounge to show support.
This policy is important because membership provides the insurance coverage necessary for range use. Membership runs for a full calendar year, beginning and ending each October. Members have 24/7 access to the range, except during scheduled club events.
Season Fees:
Indoor Season - $225.00 + BBAC membership
Outdoor Season - $335.00 (+ BBAC membership if not already purchased)
Teams:
We have three teams you may be sorted into:
Cubs - New archers that are just getting started. Mostly a practice team to get you up to speed with archery.
Bears - Beginners and Intermediate Archers who will compete at local tournaments.
Lava Bears - You have to try out to be placed on this team. Its for our most competitive archers and includes some travel to tournaments outside of the Bend Area

TEAM CODE OF CONDUCT
Welcome to the Bend High Archers, Bend Oregon's competitive team of the Oregon High School Archery League (OHSAL). We are a high school archery team hosted by Bend Senior High School and composed of volunteers and students from Central Oregon. Our goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and competitive environment for you to grow and compete as an archer during your high school years. We promote safe archery practices, including competition and hunting.
Our team practices at the Bend Bowmen Archery Club, located off Knott Road in Southeast Bend. Most practices will be held at the Bend Bowmen Clubhouse, with occasional outdoor or off-site practices for the competitive season. Practice locations and schedules vary depending on the season and weather.
**Team Requirements**
To be a member of the Bend High Archers, please note the following requirements:
* **Equipment:** It is important that you have your own archery equipment (we offer basic gear for the Cubs team to use - the gear has to stay a the club).
* **Practice:** You will be required to attend at least one practice per week to be on the Bear and Lava Bear teams.
* **Fundraising:** You will be expected to help and participate in all team fundraising efforts.
* **Travel:** You will be expected to travel for tournaments outside of the Bend area if you are part of the Lava Bears competitive team. Parents/Guardians will be required to help each other and organize transportation to these events.
* **Conduct:** Archers and Parents/Guardians are expected to conduct themselves with the highest possible level of respect for each other, competing teams, and all coaching staff. There is a zero-tolerance policy for disruptive behavior, harassment, or taunting. Violations may result in permanent suspension from the team and any related events.
